FAQs

Are reservations required?
Reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekends and holidays, to guarantee your spot and avoid long wait times. Walk-ins are welcome but subject to availability.
How does my Day Pass ticket work?
When booking, you are selecting a 30-minute time slot, the time you’re expected to be in the river, so please arrive 15-20 minutes early. If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, we may not be able to accommodate you right away.

With the purchase of a ticket, you may float as many times as you’d like. Final re-entry is at 4:00 PM. Typical float times are 2-4 hours so please plan accordingly. Please stay on the property between trips, re-entry is not permitted if you leave. You’re welcome to pack a lunch and use our on-site picnic tables.
What are your age requirements?
All guests entering the river must be at least three years of age. Each child requires a child’s tubing pass (a separate ticket per child). When water levels are high (typically above 700) there may be additional age restrictions in place. Contact us for more information.
What if age restrictions are in place and I already purchased tickets?
If tickets were purchased prior to the implementation of age restrictions, you may request to change your float day/time or receive a refund for your child or the entire group.
What should I bring to go tubing?
We recommend:
  • Water shoes or secure sandals (no flip-flops)
  • Sunscreen and sunglasses with a strap
  • A reusable water bottle
  • Waterproof phone case or dry bag
  • Snacks in a secure container (no glass)
  • A change of clothes and towel
Missing something? All essential items can be found in our gift shop before the float.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows are non-refundable.
What is the inclement weather policy?
Safety is our top priority. If severe weather (lightning, high winds, or heavy rain) prevents us from operating, we’ll offer to reschedule your trip or provide a full refund. Mild rain or overcast skies typically do not result in cancellations.
Do you have lockers for personal belongings?
We do not have lockers on-site. All personal belongings should be left in your vehicle. We have multiple options available for purchase to keep your keys dry while floating.
Do I need a life jacket or PFD?
Yes, every tuber is required to have a life jacket (PFD) with them on the river, regardless of age (a TWRA regulation).
  • PFDs are provided free of charge in sizes for small children, youth, and adults.
  • You may bring your own, but it must be U.S. Coast Guard-certified.
  • Children 12 and under are legally required to wear their PFD at all times.
  • Ages 13+ must have a PFD with them, but are not required to wear it.
Wild Bear strongly recommends all guests wear their PFD, there are areas deeper than adult standing height.
Can I bring my dog on the river?
Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome! Please ensure your pup is comfortable in the water and wears a doggy life vest. Bring a leash and clean up after your pet. Dogs over 40 lbs. require the purchase of an additional tube.
